METALS CREEK RESOURCES CORP.CLOSES FOURTH AND FINAL TRANCHE OF ITS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Toronto, May 20, 2009. Metals Creek Resources Corp. (the “Corporation”, TSXV: MEK) is pleased to announce today that is has closed the fourth and final tranche of its private placement, previously first announced on February 20, 2009.  The Corporation issued today 1,010,000 flow-through units at a subscription price of $0.11 per unit, each unit consisting of one flow-through common share and one half of one share purchase warrant, each whole warrant being exercisable for one common share at a purchase price of $0.20 for a period of 18 months from the date of issuance.  The Corporation also issued today 1,712,500 non flow-through units at a subscription price of $0.08 per unit, each unit consisting of one non flow-through common share and one share purchase warrant, each warrant being exercisable for one common share at a purchase price of $0.15 for a period of 18 months from the date of issuance. 

Gross proceeds from the closing of this fourth tranche were $248,100, while aggregate gross proceeds from the closings of all four tranches of the private placement were $905,300.
