Metals Creek completes Airborne Geophysics on Feagan Lake Graphite Property
Toronto, March 17, 2014. Metals Creek Resources (TSXV: “MEK”) announces that it has completed a VTEM plus time-domain electromagnetic and magnetic survey on its 100% owned Feagan Lake Graphite Project. The survey was conducted by Aeroquest Airborne ofAurora,Ontario.
Feagan Lake is located adjacent to and west of Zenyatta Ventures Ltd. who recently discovered vein-type graphite (hydrothermal) mineralization while testing electromagnetic (EM) targets. This new discovery by Zenyatta Ventures, describes this project as the largest and only “High Purity” (hydrothermal) GRAPHITE Deposit being developed in the World (www.zenyatta.ca). The mineralization has been described as graphite occurring in breccia pipes with a granitic matrix.
The Feagan Lake Project consists of 10 claims totaling 148 claim units adjacent to and west of Zenyatta’s Albany graphite project. The VTEM plus system targeted identified magnetic lows to determine if there are any strong electromagnetic conductive responses indicating the potential to host a possible hydrothermal graphite deposit. Results of the Airborne Geophysics Survey will be announced once the data has been received and interpreted.
